Word up – words and expressions with ‘little’.
- Instead of little you can also say: small or tiny.
- In Scotland, the word ‘wee’ is used for small E.g. a small shot of whiskey
is called ‘a wee dram of Whiskey’. - Children refer to small things as ‘teeny weeny or itsy bitsy‘.
- A smaller version of the original is called: dinky or shrunk down.
- A small person is often referred to as ‘pint sized’.
- If something is incredibly small you can say it is ‘minuscule’ or ‘minute’.
